S4PG.Server Beta Download
S4PG.Server beta is finally ready for the public. Please note, this thread only contains basic instructions. We will be adding more detail to it as soon as we can. Feel free to post your questions, feedback and suggestions in our other forums.
System Requirements:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
- This is usually already installed via windows update. However if you aren't sure, as shown in this article you can use this tool to detect what version of .NET you have.
Installation notes:
- S4PG.Server requires no installation and can be ran from any device, including a flash drive.
- If you choose to save your password when logging in (as well as any other available options), a file will be created in the same directory as S4PG.Server called "UserSettings.dat", which contains your username, password, and all login options.
- S4PG.Server stores all information on our server. You require a connection to our server to be able to use the product. If your connection is broken, you may still use any servers you are currently connected to without a problem.

Instructions for setup and use:
Step 1: Creating your Skype accounts for S4PG.Server to manage.
- S4PG.Server doesn't create Skype accounts for you. You have to manually create them yourself. If you haven't done so, download Skype and create as many accounts as you'd like.
- Configure the profiles of your Skype accounts as you see fit. Remember, these Skype instances will be dedicated to act as conference servers, not as your personal Skype client. So you may want to set the name, avatar, etc - to reflect your community.

Registering and logging in:
- To register for an account, click the "Register" button at the top of the window. All fields are required, and you must use a unique username and a unique email address. After registering, you will be automatically logged in to the server.
- Note! Do not forget your username or password, it will be a while before we put a system in place to recover this for you. If you lose it, you've lost it for good.- If you wish to log back into the server, click the "Login" button at the top of the window, enter your username and password, and click "Ok".
Adding and managing servers:
- You must be logged in to manage your servers.
- To manage your servers, click the "Settings" button at the top of the window. From here you may control most aspects of your Skype instances.
- To add a new Skype instance, click the "Add Server" button at the top of the Settings window. You must enter a unique Skype name, and its associated password.
- The settings page will contain an updated list of all of your Skype servers. You may access each of your servers by scrolling through the server list at the top of the Settings window.
- You may delete a selected Skype server by clicking the "Delete Server" button.
- You may make any edits you wish to a server by editing the information in the form below the server list. To save your changes, click the "Save Changes" buton at the top of the Settings window.
- The "Server lobby" section represents a highly-experimental beta function. While it may work, there are known bugs and it may not function properly for you. We're working on it
- The "Server Accounts" section allows you to manage Skype accounts that are associated with your S4PG.Server. Accounts are automatically added to this list when someone calls your server, no duplicate entries will be made. This section was made to allow you to control administrative access for individuals on your server, as well as users who are banned from using that particular server.
- The "Server Accounts" section sets and manages settings that will be used features that are currently not available for the first beta.
Starting and running your Skype servers:
- You must be logged in to S4PG.Server to start and run any of your Skype instances.
- To start Skype servers, click the "Start Servers" button at the top of the server. This will start all Skype instances that are currently associated with your account, if they are not already running on your computer.
- To connect to Skype servers, click the "Connect" button at the top of the server. The servers you are attempting to connect to must be currently running.
- All Skype servers require your permission for s4pg.server to connect to them. You must manually approve this in Skype after you attempt an initial connection. This will not be necessary after you initially approve s4pg.server to connect to a particular Skype server.
- You may close all servers at once by clicking the "Close Servers" button at the top of the server. You may also close, disconnect, or restart an individual server by right-clicking that Skype server in s4pg.server, and choosing the respective option.
